i feel like a good wife now . . .

. . . I made my first batch of homemade jam!

Monday night, while Trav was at his last couple of days of class, I whipped up this delicious stuff. Growing up, my mom made homemade jam every spring. I hardly ever remember having to eat the nasty, store bought jam (thanks, Mom).

I of course had to call my mom from the store to make sure I was getting the right proportions of stuff . . . but it turned out perfectly! I woke up the next morning to perfectly set homemade deliciousness.

I could really get use to this homemaking stuff.
