Travis and I were able to go to Utah two weeks before Christmas to spend some time with his family for the holidays, as we would be spending Christmas here in town.
We drove down on Friday morning and stayed with his Dad and Janna and always, had a lovely time with them. We always enjoy good food, late game nights, laughter, and the world's best showers at their house (they seriously have the BEST shower! I need it!). I've been terrible about taking pictures lately and am sad we didn't get any from our fun with them.
On Saturday night, Trav's Uncle Blaine invited us over for a family Christmas party since his Grandma was in also. Trav's sister, Kristen, and her family were able to come too which always makes it so fun. Five boys under the age of 10 will liven anything up!
Trav's little Brother, Justin, and his girlfriend, Mariah, were also able to come and enjoy the evening with us. We are always SO happy to have Justin along with us. He is truly the most pleasant and mature 15 year old you will ever meet. We love him!
We enjoyed a night of all things 12 Days of Christmas, a delicious dinner, yummy treats, thoughtful gifts, and fun activities for the kids. Thank you Blaine and Neesha for all the work you put into such a fun evening!

Well now, that really looks like a great time!! Always good to get together with family! We missed you kids this year, but maybe next year will be our turn! Glad you had such a good time! Kids do make such a difference in Christmas don't they? That is why we loved having all of you at our house all those years! Such great memories! Thank goodness we have
Sarah, Luke and Landon here in Boise now! And, in July, we will be adding another to the list!!
Though we never know just where those kids will be!
